Scalloped valance

Scalloped valance mounted on the inside of the trim made this window treatment work well. It offered that old world charm. Each section of the valance had a motif centered in the scallop. The scallops were divided with an inverted pleat on each side.
All the windows had a gathered sheer cafe to offer privacy
The scalloped bottom hem was banded in the terra cotta color to blend with the print in the valance and the paint color of the dining room. The denim blue background really looked striking with the stain on the woodwork.
This fabric print was almost a tapestry look that really fits the home.
